Even with less than 1% of polls reporting to PREP; the tendency is already clear. All three candidates, Anaya, Meade, and Rodriguez, have conceded the election to Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. Who is currently winning the electoral tendencies by 19 points with 47% of the tendency

Relations between Mexico and the US are fucked. That means NAFTA is also fucked. Which means the NA economy is probably fucked.
Rough times ahead.

2018 has been a
bad
year for Latin American politics, every country
that had elections
this year, except for Costa Rica,
went conservative
:
Colombia (Iván Duque, to take power next month),
Chile (Sebastián Piñera, took power in March),
Venezuela (Maduro needs no introduction, fucking dictator)
Paraguay (Mario Abdo Benítez, to take power next month)
Now Mexico with Obrador
So now in the entire American continent, the only progressive countries left are Canada, Uruguay, Ecuator, Argentina (a big kinda for this one) and now Costa Rica, while Brazil is in limbo (our elections are in October).
Not looking
foward for the next half decade at all

Obrador is an odd take, I wouldn’t call him conservative or liberal. He’s just an asshole.
Paul Krugman called Obrador Mexico’s Lula DaSilva... the thing about that is that Lula actually raised taxes on the rich and didn’t fill up his cabinet with rich capitalistic suckers that will be corrupted as fuck.
I really wish the best for my country but honestly who knows what’d happen.

No, he’s the “you should really emigrate illegally to the US as your human right"motherfucker.

Coming from Chile we have even bigger problems as there is a growing group of people who want our country to go even more conservative with José Antonio Kast that is basically our version of Trump . I don’t want to think what will happen in the next elections.

no, he just said illegal immigrants still have human rights. The Trumptards took his quote out of context and/
or can’t understand Spanish very well.

I wonder what is plan is going to be for this?
I could see this “amnesty” as a way to open up the production and transportation of all sorts of narcotics. Basically, a “we don’t care what you do with this shit as long as you do your selling and killing north of the border” type of approach.

He’s bluffing. He hired Rudy Giuliani
